The Colour Purple!

This tag is for this week's challenge of 'Purple' on 'Tag You're It!'.

I like this background paper as I think it is really versatile and have it in a number of colours! So I covered my tag shape with the purple shade and then stamped the 2 dragonflies onto plain white cardstock.

I then sponged the white cardstock with ink pad colour ' Purple Rio' and used Mica shimmer powder 'Violet Frost' to paint the wings. The same shimmer powder was used to edge the flower petals.

I decided to attach the top dragonfly with 3d foam pads to give it a raised effect and finally I added some pale purple ribbon.

I fear I am becoming hooked on making tags!!

I'm giggling - I know what you mean - I didn't make tags until this challenges - now I can't stop. But they come in usful as ready made card toppers if you need a quick card!!
Love your tag and the inner flowers are amazing, is that a paper?

Karen I hear you! I agree that sometimes small stamps are hard to read on the small pics.. I always click on the image to enlarge anyway..then I don't miss anything! It's amazing what details there are on some work that you don't see just looking at the blog pic!
