Uninked

This week I have found a couple, a few, rather a lot of never seen ink stamps! Suppose I should resolve to ink them all at least once so am going to give it a go....
This LOTV stamp has been in my stash since a couple of days after it was released - it was one of those - 'I have to have it' stamps. So much for THAT! Had to have it that much that it just got stored away and neglected!

I wiped the dust from it and used it (rather like the backing paper - something else which has been in the paper box for EVER).

Cut out the image with a nestie and put it onto a pink scalloped circle then onto a green one.
Coloured with promarkers and added some Liquid Pearls for the icing and some glamour dust for the wings.
Stitched all together.

Stitched the backing paper onto a pink base and added some green ruffle ribbon and pink lace.
Finished with a cut out cupcake (from yet another old paper piece), some die cut corners amd a couple of pearls.
The sentiment came with the stamp.

Had a really nice day today - went for lunch with dear husband and my nephew (we met him halfway between where we both live!)- had a lovely leisurely lunch at Betty's in Harrogate - was nice to see him as we don't get to see each other often. A great catch up and a relax  which was just what I needed ahead of my BIG weekend! (All will be shown early next week - promise!) Thanks for looking in - have a great day whatever you're doing and will catch up soon. xx

Beautifully soft and feminie Viv, although I don't do pretty images often, if I did I would definitely but LOTV images as they are lovely.

Keeping it crossed for this evening and happy with Monday's draw.

I feel guilty too, having some of those 'have to have' stamps that are still unused....
The frosting of the cupcake looks really yummy and you colored the cupcake holder so it looks like the real deal. A very sweet card....

This color combo is one I've loved forever. So soft & springlike, with the cute little LOTV fairy. Love the glimmer on her tiny wings. The lovely pink lace and the green ribbon overlay look so nice with the bkgrnd dp. The extra touch of stitching your nestie focal image added so much design detail. Just love this sweet little girl card and hope you are able to present it to someone very special. TFS & Happy wkend.

Oh, Viv, first of all, what an absolutely darling card! I so love this little fairy "splashing" on the cupcake!! And, second, I want to join your "club" for the un-inked stamps! Oh, my, do I have plenty of those! Is there a meeting we can go to, "hi, my name is xxxx, and I have a ton of un-inked stamps!" LOL! So glad that Irish Cherokee linked to your blog, because I love this beautiful card and now enjoy seeing the beautiful cards you make!! Warm hugs from across the pond!
