Summer!

I am sooo enjoying this glorious weather (although I know some of you have had thunderstorms!). It makes such a change for every day to be dry and sunny - and makes no time for crafting...😏😏
But yesterday after  tending to the patio pots I came inside as I was having withdrawal symptoms.
Here is a share for today -

Had a bit of fun with some Pixie Powders after being inspired by a similar Brusho card on Pinterest.

I love the shimmer the powders give and overall am well pleased with this card which is destined for the stash pile.

Because I am so heavy handed with powders I wet the watercolour card randomly first with a mini mister.

The powder colours are Lava Red, Aqua Lagoon,  Straw Yellow and Pale Olive.

The Dandees are by Lavinia. The flower silhouette and the dragonfly are Inkylicious and I think the sentiment MAY be Hero Arts (lost packaging!).

Am sharing this over at -

So that's it from me for today. I am going to have a couple of hours outside in the sunshine but I am visiting Blogland tonight!
Hope the weather is kind to you wherever you are and thanks for visiting me! x

I think I lost connection during my comment being sent!
This is gorgeous and I too am a great fan of Pixie Powders, love the shimmer and the sheer unpredictability of the results. Wall to wall sunshine here despite dire warnings of thunder and rain

I really like the backgrounds that can be created with Brushos and Pixie Powders and this is lovely Viv. It's a perfect background for the silhouette stamps that you've used. I'm with you on enjoying the sunshine.....long may it last! :) x

The powders are so pretty and yes I love the unpredictability of them x Love how you have combined the different stamps on your beautiful card. Yes I have been in the garden too doing over due jobs and missing my crafting too but so glad the 'jobs' outside are being done x

What a fabulous background you've created - it looks amazing behind the black stamping. I struggle with powders like that - the result is always too random for my liking!

Love this Viv, gorgeous colours and lovely stamps. I didn't get on with Pixie powders the only time I tried them but might need to have another play after seeing this

Love the way you've created your background Viv. I'm heavy handed with water when using Brushos too, so adding the water first is a great idea. I love how you have bursts of colour. xx

Haven't tried the Pixie Powders, but recently got some of the Nuvo Shimmer Powders. This looks lovely, and I think you've really done an outstanding job of placing those bursts of color just 'so' to complement this lovely silhouette of a flower garden. So very pretty. Glad you are having some nice weather. Blogger is still being a 'bugger' as I think some of the UK folks would say. I am about aggravated enough to call it Bloody Blogger, except as it is still free, I guess that might not be too nice, perhaps! TFS
