As Snowdrops are known to be the first Spring flower (even though they often poke their heads up above snow!)
I chose to use them on my card.
I did a simple watercolour background and fussy cut my snowdrop stamp after painting.
Although you can't see it in the photo I dusted a little sparkle over the petals.
The sentiment is a well used one!
I hope that you are safe wherever you are in the World and if you are experiencing Spring like we are, that your World is full of Snowdrops.
Thanks for looking. x
Love the style of this card and the water colouring is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous as ever. Love the card design and your water colour background. Given up in despair of ever getting a delivery slot. Feel like I have spent the best part of last month sat in front of my pc toggling between shops to no avail. 70+ And Hubby with Cancer is just not enough to blag us a delivery. Only venturing out to forage when needs must. Safe safe and well. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteSo true and lets hope it remembers to bring better weather with it. A really lovely creation, great design and love the subtle colours.

A beautiful card Viv, I love to see the snowdrops peep through each year, it reminds me that spring is not too far away. The sentiment is very apt at the moment too, we need to be reminded that this will be over one day and we will all look back and say remember when .....
ReplyDeleteTake care and stay safe

Such a lovely card design Viv with gorgeous watercolouring and beautiful snowdrops. Love that you used this sentiment - very appropriate for now - and the snowdrop is a symbol of hope isn't it. Vicky x
ReplyDeleteViv, this is so beautiful, and such a wonderful sentiment that has more than just seasonal meaning these days. Love the way you watercoloured the background to show the bulb in the ground, coming up through the grass, and blooming against the sky. I love snowdrops - I have many of them in my garden and they start blooming in late January, early February - such wonderful harbingers of spring.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Viv, I love the design and the uplifting sentiment. xx
