My panel background was created using an embossing folder and distress inks, then stamped with some foliage before matting onto a piece of dark brown card.
I coloured the giraffe and fussy cut and popped him on top of a small tag.
The sentiment was done using a set of alphabet letters stamps inked in Brushed Corduroy and part of a PB sentiment stamp!
Why don't you get out your creature stamps and join us in the gallery - we'd love to see you!
Happy weekend everybody!
A gorgeous card Viv and that giraffe is so cute x
ReplyDeleteA fabulous card Viv, I love the stamping on the embossed backgound. Just how I would imagine the dry parched ground to look.

This is just gorgeous.xxx
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card Viv! I have just come from Joan's blog where I saw you had been to Arley Hall - we were wondering what it would be like - your report has made me think it should go on the list! We found Tatton Park garden very good, also Biddulph Grange and some good woodland walking at Lyme Park. Styall Mill is great on a fine day but very slow going in the rain! Dunham Massey garden was very crowded last week but is mostly one way! Hope this is useful! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI love your offset panel. This is fabulous.love the rich colours. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteThis is a layered delight, Viv! That e/f with your blending looks just like animal skin and I love the way you have stamped the grass, tree, and closeup leaves over it, lining up the grass on the wee beribboned tag and topping it off with the cutest little giraffe baby! It's like describing a crafty card cake!! (Am I hungry AGAIN?!) Great job going wild with the letters, too! Keep well! Hugs, DD
ReplyDeleteLove the happy little giraffe and the background is just perfect, beautifully done.

ReplyDeleteI love the cute giraffe on the tag over the prettily coloured dry embossed background Viv with great added tree and foliage to create an interesting scene, and the large stamped word as part of the sentiment finishes it perfectly. x
