It's reveal day over at the Card Chain Challenge - and my goodness this month WAS a challenge!
There was this simply HUGE Tic Tac Toe board - 25 squares in all - I wonder if anyone managed to use them all? Not me that's for sure, I had enough trouble selecting five! I chose the second column - and got my thinking cap on.
So here's the challenge line I chose-
Slimline, Bird, Black, Deer and Stars
My background was done using (from the bottom up) -
Seedless Preserve, Victorian Velvet, Shaded Lilac and Chipped Sapphire. I lightly inked the moon blending outwards with Iced Spruce.
I am a relative newbie to this challenge but it's kind of given me something to aim at - and it has the added bonus that each month you receive a lovely hand made card from somewhere else in the world!
Thanks for looking today - December simply flew by - in fact 2022 flew too -

ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful - I can imagine this is quite a challenge to use a whole line from this tic-tac-toe chart. You've done a grand job - I'd find it difficult to actually choose a line, let along carry out the design 🤣🤣. All the very best wiahwa for 2023

We used the same line from the board for our cards this month Viv! I love the Lavinia stamps used here (I have most of them so very well may case this design!!!) Beautiful off stamping of your tree and the brilliant full moon highlighting the owl! Happy New Year!

Hi Viv! I love this card! Very atmospheric. Thank you for your comment and I am staying dry, in fact I hardly venture out these days. My hands are always so blue and cold and I wear gloves all the time now so going out causes more pain, plus I prefer to be home. I will endeavour to try and visit more often, even though the typing is a nightmare. Happy New Year!!
