Before we get to the card can anyone tell me how to reply to someone who has left a comment on a post? There's no e mail on the persons profile and now Blogger has removed access to the link back to the person's blog. I don't want the person concerned who has asked the question to think I am being rude! There must be a way to do it in the Blog settings but I can't find it, so any help appreciated.
Dry days where there is nothing better than walking through crunchy fallen leaves. I think it may be my fave time of year as nature's colours are simply spectacular. Autumn Glory indeed!
The stamps used here are all by Stampendous and I inked them in shades of orange and red with a bit of green onto an odd piece of card.
Matted the panel onto another left over piece of orange card and stamped two more leaves onto a couple of odd scraps that were just about to go into the bin.
Fussy cut the leaves, stamped the sentiment and job done.
Sentiment inked in Spiced Marmalade.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous autumnal feeling to this card, colours so right. The only thing I can think of in answer to your problem is that you could reply to the comment and just hope that the person sees it. (unless this is the function which doesn't work now). Or you could just comment on something on her blog but include the reply to her question within the comment, unless it is something you'd rather wasn't seen by others. Can't think of any other way if there is no email available. Good luck

ReplyDeleteOh, gah, these leaves are just absolute perfection, Viv! I want to roll around in them. Hmm, no, that would crush them because more than that, I want to gather them and pin them to my bulletin board to enjoy them for months. The realism is just amazing!!
ReplyDeleteAs for a person leaving a comment: I just checked and blogger is still letting you click on the link and it takes you to the person's blog, provided they have a blog and they aren't a "no reply blogger," which, sadly, a lot of ladies are and they don't even realize it. If you click on the name and get nothing, I don't think there is anything you can do. If you find out otherwise, will you let me know because this has plagued me for a decade? I will just go back to the post in question and add the answer to the end, like: "ETA to Marquette ... ." Frustrating!

Such a pretty, stamped panel you've created Viv. I love the look of these stamped leaves...slightly faded so they have a very soft feel to them. I love Autumn but we don't get the distinct seasons in Sydney...it's just not the same!

ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how many times I've gone round the houses trying to get back to someone! Sometimes they are on a DT and you can get to their blogs via the challenge site. I guarantee they'll have no idea! They need to go into their settings and change the bit that makes their blog public (I think...!) Vicky x
