Sea

I have made very little this week - and what I have made has been pants! Have finally given in and made an appointment to see the doc tomorrow - am hoping that there is a quick remedy as I've had these cramps/pains and  been feeling completely wiped out like this since last Friday.
Consequently I haven't felt much like doing anything except feel sorry for myself! I know I'm poorly - I got new stamps and didn't even open the packet they came in for 2 days - OH was seriously worried.....LOL
Scanned through my drafts folder to share something and thought it was a little while since I posted a 'man' card so here's one!
I used coloured SU cardstock as my base (but can't remember what colour it is) and teamed it with some red. The striped paper is from K and Co and is part of a very large box which is that old it's as vintage as the image from a vintage male themed stamp set by Flonzcraft - stamped with Versamark 'Espresso' onto a scrap piece from another mat stack. Two small eyelets added before matting and a few corners punched out from the red scraps.

The little calendar pieces also from the 'scraps' box, simply torn up and shoved in

Used some red/white Bakers Twine, added the Anchor charm and stamped sentiment and finished off with 2 larger eyelets.

Crafty Sentiments - For a Man
Cardz 4 Guyz - Anything Goes
Stampavie & More - Water

I am also dropping into the Snippets Playground for about 2 minutes - not well enough to be making snowmen or having snowball fights -  although the view outside is making me want to go sledging.....
this was taken yesterday - and it hasn't changed much today apart from the sky which is a bit clearer. Will try and stop by your blogs later. Have a great day whatever you're doing. x

Oh Viv, this is such a fabulous card! Love the parchment with red (a change from blue) and such a great design. VERY cleverly thought out and beautifully made as always.

Hmm, hope the docs appointment goes well chick. I had what seems very similar for about three weeks and it was miserable. There seems to be a virus doing the rounds right now - I was very friendly with the loo for a while :( It does leave you feeling wiped out so let's hope the doc can sort it out for you. Do update us!

Hugs

There are so many things doing the rounds Viv so I think you are wise to go to the docs and fingers crossed he can give you something to buck you up a bit.

Loving the nautical theme going on here.

Was dreading Tuesday night but turned out better than I expected and think the boys put on a good show.

The only thing wrong with this card is that I can't see Johnny Depp anywhere.
Lovely card and so brilliant for a change from sport for a male card.

Sorry to hear you've been feeling poorly. Hope you will feel much better very soon. It's got to be bad, when you get new supplies and can't summon the energy to open them & have a play. I LOVE this card. I've always loved old ships, clipper ships, the pirate ships and the Espresso color was the perfect look for this image. Liked the way you did the eyelets too. The vintage papers worked wonderful with the fantastic ship and what a stunning masculine card you've got at the ready. TFS the snowy photo...I'm glad it's not here in South Carolina. It's lovely to see it, but not so lovely to get out in it. Well maybe playing in it, when I was a youngster. Now I'd be more concerned that I'd slip & fall & break something! Big Hugs & TFS such a marvelous card.

Absolutely stunning work! Love all the vintage elements. Ships have always been some of my favorite things to include on a masculine card. Thanks for linking it up over at Crafty Gals Corner this week. And I do hope you figure out what's causing the pain. Sending good thoughts your way!
