This was a quickie card made for no other reason than I had determined that I was going to make SOMETHING before I went away again.
Have also been trying recently of using coloured inks to stamp with rather than the normal black and brown.
I love this old stamp. It was one of the very first I bought and it stamps really well with any type of ink.
I used Dusty Concord DI as it was the nearest colour I had to the purple striped cardstock.
The sentiment is from an SU set and I added a few sparklies before finishing it all off with some polka dot ribbon.
Quite happy with the result and this is one that will go into the stash box - will probably do a few more on similar lines in different colours as I have quite a collection of striped card!

Viv..I love this!...and it reminds me I might have this stamp on wood hidden away somewhere...must revisit those wooden stamps. I think the additon of the little gems just finishes it off. Safe travels xx

This is so elegant Viv and love the polka dots with the stripes and this dusty concord ink goes really well with this pretty stamp. Sounds like you are really busy at the moment but hope life calms down a bit for you soon. Take care. x
