We still have a covering of snow up here - it's weird cos if you go half a mile down the hill there's not a sign of any white stuff at all - very cold today but the sky is blue so that always cheers me up!
Coloured little birdie with Distress Inks after stamping in Versafine ink.
All the papers were from my stash.
The ribbon is hand dyed - made a bow, stirched on the button in the middle and stitched it through the top of the birdcage (chipboard from Maya Road which had a thin coating of white acrylic paint as it was quite a dark brown originally).
Some lace, a doily and a couple of pearls finished it off.
The sentiment is from another SU set, Moon Lake and I continued the papers on the inside.

Sorry haven't been round lately and didn't realise you have still been feeling rough but hopefully you have turned the corner now! I adore the pretty bird in lovely pastel colours and the bp's complement it beautifully and I love the stitching too.
