Valentines Day = Money Making Exercise in my book! Rant over.
Going to now spread a little LURRRVE with this card!!
Coloured it using Promarkers and then rubbed some pastel chalks for the sky and ground - merely to take off the stark whiteness of the card as the papers have more of a creamy background than white.
I think the papers were originally from a Christmas Paper Pad but they seemed to fit OK for the 'love' theme!
I followed the sketch from this weeks challenge at 'Card and Scrap' HERE and based the colours on the pic at Cupcake Inspirations HERE.
Sentiment is from SU 'Good Greetings' set, cut the oval with a nestie, matted onto red and punched out a couple of little hearts.
The ribbon was a challenge win from eons ago and I added a red button secured with some twine.

I don't either Viv, but it's a nice cheery card, she looks a bit like I feel today.
I was quite relieved I didn't have to ensure Saturday, it was bad enough listening to it. Heave only knows what tomorrow will bring.

I agree, but I say take the best and leave the rest... share a little love whenever you can. I love your card, all your lovely papers, woven tape, button and the simple way you've coloured it. Great job! We are basking in 30 deg C temperatures and would love a little rain

I don't make Valentine cards. But cards for those I love, with or without love theme, sure.
This no-Valentine card shows plenty of love, both in colors, paper and image, it's so sweet and perfect for an elderly couple:)

Always love these sweet couples designs and your coloring is perfect with the designs in the papers, and also extremely well executed! These pretty graphic designs combined in the layout so nicely, and what a wonderful Valentine Day card. Loved all these pretty dp papers, but especially the xstitch hearts one. Liked the rougher texture of the border ribbon with the button too. TFS & have a good week, stay dry.

Such a cute image and I think the papers go perfectly! I have never been one for making a big thing of occasions like Valentine's Day or even Mother's Day, Birthdays, etc., with gifts or fancy outings but......I do like to receive cards and especially if they're handmade.
