Good Intentions.....

Full of good intentions last week with a few free days - sum total of cards made = 3. THREE??? I mean REALLY???
Can't believe how much my brain refused to come up with anything more exciting than a couple of CAS Christmas Cards - but suppose I should be grateful that I have made 3 more for the Xmas stash!

Intended to share this before the weekend - but best laid plans and all that..
so here it is now - and my thanks to the amazing Loll for the inspiration.

Smooshed a left over of white linen card with DI's, Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters.
Once dry, used some gold cosmic shimmer powder and literally flicked and  splashed it onto the piece of card - (and on the walls, the PC screen and anywhere else left uncovered.....) then misted lightly with some water.

Left it to dry then cut out with a Christmas Tree dies, mounted onto foam and placed onto the gold edged panel.
The sentiment also simply stamped in metallic gold ink.
Quite happy with this too I think!

Snippet used so am away to the Playground - two weeks on the trot is a record recently!!
Other challenges -
613 Avenue Create - Green and Gold
CCC - Anything Goes
CRAFT - Christmas
MAWTT - Trees

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today - enjoy your day whatever you're doing! x

The card you shared today is rather fab though, CAS in the extreme but the Cosmic Shimmer gold really lifts it

Fabulous CAS design Viv. Three cards in a few days would be more than the norm for me, so I'm impressed with that number. Love the gold edging and splatters. Really adds some lovely sparkle and shine to your elegant card. xx

LOL, Viv, I splatter like that but so far have missed my PC! Love this tree! All the smooshing, flicking and splashing gave wonderful results!

It's not quantity but quality that counts and your card has oodles of it. I love the result you got on the christmas tree with all the spraying and inking. Hugs Mrs A.

Wonderful Viv! Parsnip fell into a swoon when you popped up again in the Playground! I did giggle about the stuff going everywhere - I had a turquoise keyboard the other week!

How clever of you to decorate your walls and your monitor at the same time as you made this shimmery CASlicious Christmas card! Way to be efficient with your time, Viv! You might even start a new style trend in home decor! Hugs, Darnell

Hi Viv

Loving your Christmas tree. Great swooshing and the touch of gold is the perfect finishing touch.

Realistically it is far quicker to make the cards in our heads than it is to physically create them LOL!!

Hope all is good with you and you are still enjoying all your gadding about!

Love Jules xx
