Peace and Tranquility

Been a hectic time recently - home very late last night but have a 4 night stopover in my own bed ... was bliss!!
So a quick post from me as I have much to do (boring washing etc)

There have been times I have wished I was in the middle of this lake - the man in the boat has definitely escaped from it all - don't get me wrong, I am enjoying my final year with Bowls England but sometimes it IS nice just to be away from everybody in your own little world of peace and quiet!
And of course there hasn't been any time for crafting - which is seriously irritating!
Stamps all from Stampscapes and I just added a little bit of Distress Ink for some weak sun rays!
So that's all the time I have just now.

I will be round later today to visit everybody - I am determined to spend some time in the craftie space - I have new goodies and the withdrawal symptoms are just dreadful!
Hope the sun is shining for you a little more strongly that the weak sun on my card - have a great day!

Such a beautiful tranquil scene. I hope you manage to fit in some crafting time while you are at home, especially if you have new goodies to play with.

I have this stamp! I love the treatment you've given it here. And I'm unfamiliar with that quote, but it's a good one. Thanks for joining the fun at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

Wonderful card Viv, I think my husband can certainly picture himself out there fishing. Beautiful scene and the light touch of yellow just perfect. Enjoy the rushing around, being home and alone is for later.
