It was a bit of a surprise when I was uploading the little Washi project to see that it's been nearly a week since I last posted anything... I have not been uncreative, but have been unable to show them publicly! I don't mean that they're not fit for public viewing, just that the recipients have not yet received them therefore can't show them!
In between cursing the sewing machine (fabric postcards for a 3 way swap) and cursing Maureen (who came up with this daft idea in the first place - I mean - me- sewing?????), I have made a couple of cards, stamped up some images and played about with embossing folders -
I won this 'Stampendous' stamp in a free 'give- away' last year and really like it! I used a mixture of promarkers and watercolours to colour it, papers are from DCWV and the blue 'dots' embossed base paper is from Coredinations. The little boat charm was sent to me by a friend.
The Rainbow Lady's Challenge this week is the Four Seasons.

For anyone elses benefit - the postcards turned out beautifully so - Yes you sewing - get on with more!!!!!
I love the eyelet/ribbon treatment on your layer! You have some great embellishments that you use. What a sweet card!
This is a really lovely card Viv... the colours are gorgeous, as is the stamp, and I love the little ribbon details.
Is my postcard on its way then ?!!!
I'll reserve jugement as to whether you can sew until I receive it lol
p.s. Excuse the spelling... I meant 'judgement' of course!
This is a really charming card ... and just keep sewing, it looks great, Petra. xx
So cute and that little charm is just right for it. Fabric postcards are so much fun, what did you and the sewing machine fall out over? I find most anything can be sorted out with enough stabiliser...
This is so pretty and makes me wish summer was here now. Well done on being first this week and thanks for your entry Love Cynthia x
I love the image you have used, this looks very summery. Thanks for joining in with the Rainbow Lady's Challenge.
Hugs Shelley xx
