Baubles

So -  it was wet this morning. I had a really good excuse then not to do a lot (I did the ironing though....😇😇)
Ironing completed I had a bit of fun messing about with faux snow. Well, we've seen enough of the real stuff lately (and more to come) but surprisingly I am not sick of it YET....and decided to remind myself what it looked like ahead of the forecast for later this week.
These were really cool to make and not bad for my first attempts. I am going to make some more and be more adventurous colouring the acetate a bit more - perhaps adding moons and stuff!

I need though to get some more of the ribbon that you can gather - it has string attached that you pull and does the gathering work for you (as shown on the right hand side one) - better pic here I think - so if anyone can help I'd be really grateful as I don't know what it's called to search!

I popped some tiny lights behind to take the pic - these lights are tiny battery operated ones and the battery compartment is really small and light so might try and make one with the lights inside and hide the battery compartment at the back.
I think these will look really nice on a tree!

Baubles and Fairies are of course from Lavinia. Faux snow and glitter was in my stash (now all over the table....LOL)

Fabulous baubles Viv and the stamping on the acrylic is so clean and pretty with that touch of colour, not an easy task as it is quite easy to smudge, but you have done it beautifully, and the pull up ribbon looks great for the hanger. It does seem to be called pull bow ribbon. x

These caught my eye on Bloglovin - fabulous work!
No idea what the ribbon is called - pull up or bow making ribbon? I have seen it at garden centres in the past if that is any help.

These are so beautiful, and I've not seen anything like these fairy ornaments before. It's a very striking use of the Lavinia fairies and what a mystical scene you've created inside the ornaments. Love the snow too. Adding the lights behind to set up your photo was inspired designing, as it certainly created such a golden glow so that the scenes show up so well. TFS & Happy Easter.

Wowser Viv!! These are absolutely STUNNING! I missed seeing them in March and hopped back after you mentioned them in your snippets post.

Miss Marple went on the hune and found some silver and gold pull bow ribbon which I think is what you'rr after? https://tiptopweddingshop.co.uk/iridescent-lurex-pull-bow-ribbon-3mm-x-25-metres.html?gclid=CjwKCAjww6XXBRByEiwAM-ZUIFGvS9M0kr5A1B2U8MFz0BSgjJu8Txwrcae3JNo-xaVTwKtXRxhUzRoCDDsQAvD_BwE
