Stamping

I am still enjoying having some free time - although I am off to a meeting tomorrow once that is finished I am free then for another couple of weeks before my year as Immediate Past President starts. (Commonly called 'The Pasty'!)
I have been making the most of being able to just sit and play with inks - it's been lovely.

I saw this colour combo on Pinterest and thought I would try it.
The really bright blue and vibrant red appealed to me and although I get lots of inspiration from Pinterest I am very guilty of spending far too much time looking and not enough time doing!

I sponged the background then splashed some water droplets. This has given a real subtle effect and I am pleased with myself!
The Dandy stamp is by Inkylicious inked with Versafine Majestic Blue and Versamagic Wheat colour.
The red berry stem was inked with Dew Drop Rocket Red.
Sentiment stamped with Majestic Blue.
Another one for the stash!

Am sharing this over at

Have a great day whatever you're doing - and as always I really appreciate you visiting and leaving any comments. x

These Inkylicious stamps are some on my wish list and the colour combination of blue and red with the wheat giving lovely depth to the piece and it looks as though there is a touch of pink in the background too along with the pale blue and water spatters. A beautiful and atmospheric card Viv. x
