Not Christmas!

Happy Saturday!
We are currently having THE WORST weather! The hail storms are happening every hour, high winds and it is really cold - I ventured out to the Post Office this morning- and scuttled back as fast as I could. I ain't moving from here for the rest of the day.
This week having finished my Christmas cards (she says smugly😏😏), I turned my attention to doing some DT makes for upcoming challenges and also some makes for no reason other than - "because I can"!
I made a set of one layer note style cards and here's one -

(others will get shared as we go along!)

The set is all the same basic centre circle design done with blended Distress Inks in different colours and different stamps from Inkylicious and Lavinia.
They were quick to do and made a change from Christmas cards - although looking at the angle I seem to have taken this pic from you'd think I'd already been partaking of the Christmas spirit 🍷! (Which I haven't!!)

We are off tomorrow until the end of next week for a short indoor bowling break with some friends. (Planning on plenty of Christmas spirit there.....)
There isn't a single Christmas decoration up in the house yet 🌲 - left deliberately until we come home. It seemed a good decision at the time - now am beginning to wonder when I am going to do the shopping as well as trying to make the house a little festive!

Thanks for looking today. Have a great weekend. x

Sounds like you are having the exact opposite of our weather Viv! This is so sweet - you've used those stamps perfectly. I really must get some Lavinia Stamps added to my collection....

Hi Viv

Loving your "not Christmas" card. Lovely choice of colours and images!

Well done on having all your Christmas cards made and posted. Not quite that far ahead here .. .. but much better than previous years.

All out Christmas stuff is out of the roof and stacked up ready for putting up. The hallway looks like we are moving house! LOL!

Enjoy your time away. It sounds like you will .. .. hic!!!!

Love Jules xx

This is such a pretty scene. Enjoy your break and I'm sure you will be ready for Christmas - we all worry and usually with no need to.

Gorgeous card Viv,. Hope your enjoying your bowling. We haven't any decorations up yet . They will go up on Sunday. Just enjoying
all the cards that are popping through the door and being displayed here there and everywhere. As I had finished all my cards I had the bright idea of MrakingChristmas crackers for the kids to have on their Christmas tables. Four days later send just about to photo and then pop in post . Thankyou do much for making a card specially for my challenge. Hugs Mrs A.
