Blissful

It's been a week where real life has simply got in the way and when I have had time to myself, I haven't done a lot!

I am in desperate need of sunshine after the weather recently (where is Spring? The end of May is not a time to have to put on your central heating!) and with once again grey skies and damp drizzle outside I decided to make my own.

Lemon brusho background - a nice sunshiney colour!

I used Squeezed Lemonade for the stencilling then did a bit of overstamping in black, Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilised Amber.

Orange brusho used to highlight the butterfly and the sentiment is from an old SU set.
Popped on a couple of lemon enamel dots.

Thanks for looking today - have a great weekend! x

I'm none too keen on the current weather either but this lovely card gives us a burst of sunshine colour. Love the way you've done the colour effect and the stamping. Beautiful result!!

We had the very same weather and overnight it changed to high, hot temps and humidity. Not only did you bring spring to you, you gave it to all of us with this bright card. Great stenciling and I love that touch of amber.

I love your idea of making your own sunshine. I too am desperate for some warmer weather. We went for a lovely walk this morning but it’s just not the same with grey skies! Your card is beautiful and you know how much I love my Brushos. The butterfly is lovely and I really like the black mesh stamp that you’ve used in the background x

Don't worry Viv, summer is on its way and is due to arrive at the end of the week. We'll all be complaining it's too hot soon lol!
I love how versatile you are with so many different styles under your belt. This kind of mixed media collage effect is very pretty. Vicky x

You've really provided some sunshine with this lovely card, it has been a cold damp month and I'm pleased to know I'm not the only one putting the heating on!

I'm hearing yo Viv! There was a time when we got bad weather, the other side of the Pennines got good weather...
I'm loving your cheerful sunshine card. Great mix of stamps and as soon as I clicked on it, the sun came out... How about that!

Such a wonderful card for the coming season! Love the colors and details. Here in Michigan, we literally had a our heat on one day and the AC the next. Hoping this isn't a sign of the rest of our summer! Thank you for playing with us at Cardz 4 Galz and hope you can join us again soon.

This card definitely makes me feel as though the sun is shining brightly, which of course it isn't at the moment, and the added orange with the Brusho really makes the beautiful butterfly and sentiment pop, and some wonderful added elements in the background including those super yellow enamel dots. Hopefully some sunshine will be making appearance towards the end of the week and hopefully the temperature will rise somewhat too. We haven't turned off our central heating either and haven't really got out of winter/spring clothes apart from when we had those few warm days way back. x

Such a cheery card, full of colour and what an eye catching design Viv. I know exactly what you mean about life getting in the way and central heating this time of year....what is all that about? Doing the same up here too x.

Excellent! loving it very much. The weather here is a roller coaster ride. Mostly high 70's, 80's and 90's. One day of 60's and today in the high 70's. tomorrow and Thursday in the 90's again. It has been dry all the way. No rain before the weekend, MAYBE.

Hugs and Blessings,
Jim
