CAS Mix Up September challenge is a WATERCOLOUR one and the theme is AUTUMN COLOURS which has been chosen by Leslie.
The stamps were a freebie with a craft magazine last year - an assortment of Autumn stamps, trees, acorns etc. I really liked the small scattered leaf stamp and there were also a couple of really small ones which although fiddly did the job.
After stamping the leaves at the bottom, I used a wet brush and smudged the ink a little.
Am hoping that I have projected an image of an Autumn woodland floor!
We have a great guest designer this month and the rest of the team have made some beautiful cards to share with you all - hope you can find some time to watercolour something with those lovely colours that Autumn brings and pop it in the gallery over at CAS Mix Up!

Yes, you definitely have projected that woodland floor image. What a very clever use of those stamps. I love how you have done the background too. It is a very calming card. I love it. By the way, the link from the CAS mix up blog is wrong, it goes to Susan's card for some reason. Hope things are settling down for you xx
Beautiful woodland scene Viv...just beautiful. xx

It looks exactly like an Autumnal woodland floor. You certainly got a lot from a free stamp. Your talent is showing through. The coloring is brilliant and the colors you chose scream Fall. Love this sweet scene.
(As an aside, when I click on your name at the CAS Mix Up blog, I'm redirected to Susan's blog, not yours.)
Great card Viv, a lovely design. xx
The scattered leaves and the small, fiddly ones are just perfect with your mushrooms. All the more like an autumn scene, possibly forest floor or maybe just under a tree in the lawn. I love autumn and your card!
Great card - definitely says Autumn to me
A beautiful card Viv and I think you've done a great job of capturing autumn. I love the leaves scattered on the floor and the few that are falling finish your card off to perfection x

What beautiful toadstools for this month's challenge Viv, and especially with your limited supplies. I love the bright and pretty leaves blowing in the wind and making a wonderful carpet of leaves on the ground and the mix of autumn colours is just perfect, also the textured card for the aperture layer looks great. I hope you are settling in OK and that your permanent home will be ready to move into fairly soon. x
This is a beautiful Autumn scene, Viv! I can almost hear the leaves crunch and smell the wonderful autumn woodland smells!
