Another Christmas/Winter make.
The Inkylicious moon mask has taken a hammering this year along with a couple of stamps owing to the fact that I cannot access all my stash!
Bottom masked with some torn paper then ink blended the sky. Stamped the Twiggy Branches then removed the mask from the bottom.
It looked a bit bare so more torn paper and more stamping, with a bit (?!) of blending.
I wasn't too happy with the bottom as I went a bit daft π trying to do snow drifts and used too much ink.
Finished with some White Nuvo Crystal Drops.
Tomorrow should have been Moving Day. Should have beenππ.
Yet another delayπ‘ at the top of this chain as their solicitors seem completely incompetent and we were told it is 'unlikely that anything will be done until the New Year'.
Our solicitor is tearing her hair out as we and the lady we are buying from are all ready to go, as is the next two in the chain, it's the one after that that is causing all this stress, grief and disappointment, not to mention cost.
Coupled with the new 'work from home' edict from the Government because of the huge rise in infections here, this will only add to further delays no doubt.
It's incredibly depressing and when you think we should have only been here for about 6-8 weeks and we've now been here 6 months, with cardboard boxes stacked floor to ceiling and furniture stacked everywhere. I am beginning to think we are going to be stuck here forever!
Moan over! x

A beautiful card Viv and such lovely colours too. I'm keeping everything crossed that your move will happen soon xx
This is a beautiful moody winter scene - love it. Oh dear, that is really bad news about your house move and you are forgiven for having a moan - if you can't share problems with your blog friends who can you have a moan to πππ. I do hope the situation soon resolves itself - you've been messed about for quite long enough. Take care xx
This has to be so frustrating for you with all the delays. Living with limited supplies is so hard and not knowing when you can move is terrible. Being on someone else's time frame is awful. Good luck with getting it done soon. I'm loving this card too with the Twiggy Branches. The sky is beautiful and there is not too much ink showing the snow. I haven't had time to make my card like it but I still plan on doing that. Merry Christmas to you and hubby and thank you for the sweet comments on my post.
Beautiful card. So sorry to read about your moving disaster
Fabulous card Viv. What a nightmare with your house situation, you have my sympathy
Love the twiggy branchesand the snow drifts look brilliant-sorry to hear about your ongoing moving hold ups

Fabulous card Viv..on limited supply too...good job or you would really be putting us all to shame with your talent my friend. I so so hope you get that move soon...in the meantime...keep trucking...tomorrow is another day as they say (never sure what it brings though...lol) HUgs xx
We moved twice at christmas time and both of them were fraught with problems. Hope you really do get this sorted out soon. There is no such thing as too much snow on a card. Love this creation. Hugs Mrs A.
Such a beautiful card Viv. So sorry to read your move has been delayed again. Fingers crossed for you that it's sorted soon.
Sue xx
You did a tremendous job with your card. Everything is just perfect. Love this card. I would have expected the move to have happened by now, COVID or not. Have put a prayer in for expedience in your move.
Love, Hugs and Blessings,
Jim
PS - I have 4 telescopes and am in an area that is very light polluted.( back yard flood lights in every yard and no dark sky near by)π’π
What an atmospheric and beautiful card with the prettiest of colours of Viv x. I am so sorry to read about the continued delay, sending hugs and love x. It truly must be awful for you x.
Oh dear I am feeling for you and family Viv...similar events happening here in Australia.. everyone trying to sell and high prices and then not able to find a home to buy and no renters available either. BUT you have a beautiful card, love the moonscape you've created and I don't think you over did it, it's a lovely card. Hope all works our soon, very best wishes for Christmas and New Year hugs Robyn
Sometimes limited craft supplies lead to wonderful creativity Viv and it certainly seems that it is true here! I love your beautiful moonlit scene and love the colours you've used. The Nuvo drops are so effective on the twiggy bushes too.
I am so sorry that you are having this problem with your move. You are definitely not alone and it reminds me of Bleak House with Dickens' commentary on the slow-moving and uncaring legal system. Keeping everything crossed for you - you will get there in the end. Hugs, Vicky x
That's a really beautiful card Viv. I would love to be able to create something like that.
Sorry to hear that you are being messed about something chronic. Lets hope next year is a better one for you.
Sending big hugs your way Box Lady!

I love this and all your inky effects showing the deep snow. That is definitely what it looks like. So sorry to hear your tale of woe, hoping you get some good news soon. x
Another fabulous scene Viv and the blue and purple look amazing and lots of dimension with the white crystal drops for the berries, and I think the added branches and extra purple you added to emphasise the snow slopes all work brilliantly. So sorry to hear there have been more delays in your move and can understand why you are so wearied of it. Fingers crossed that it will happen quite soon in the new year. x
absolutely gorgeous Viv, I love all your snow drift blending with that beautiful tree ( I think I have that stamp :).
So sorry to hear about your troubles with the house buying it must be so stressful especially at Christmas ♥
A beautiful card Viv. I’m sorry your move has been delayed yet again. I do sometimes wonder about the competency of some of the solicitors. We had problems when Roy was selling his flat with the buyers solicitors which ended in the sale falling through and a loss of a few thousand pounds as a result.
Viv your card is gorgeous! It just proves that we really don't need so much stuff when you have created so many different cards with few supplies.
I am so sorry about the house move problems, you must be tearing your hair out. I'm praying that you get good news soon. Either way thank you for your friendship this year and (try) to have a good Christmas. Hugs back at you
I'm so sorry you've another hold up, Viv! Seems like it's never ending! I hope the end is in sight. Your card is beautiful with the lovely colors in the moonlight! Thanks for the awesome Christmas card. It's such a beautiful scene and the skater reminds me of skating by moonlight when I was a girl!
Wow! Love all the soft tones and pretty wintry scene, Viv
Love your moon cards Viv, and sorry to hear your woes, must be a complete nightmare, especially with a lot of your craft stuff amongst all those boxes.! I do hope you have better news soon xxx
So sorry to hear that the saga of your move continues. So very frustrating for everyone especially as it is all down to one member of the chain. I really like your card and how you have inked the snow and the sky, the colours are really effective and what a great twiggy stamp. The rise in infections is really depressing, when will it ever end? xx
I can't imagine how all this must feel, being stuck for so long before getting the possibility to get settled in your new home.
Hang in there, eventually it will happen.
Your card is such a beauty, well done using your inks to create the fantastic night sky and snowy hills.
A beautiful card Viv, love the colours in the wintry sky. It must be so frustrating having your move delayed yet again. Hope you hear something soon.
Avril xx
Your card is STUNNING, Viv! I love this combination of colours. You have used the perfect combination to create a beautiful work of art.
So sorry to hear your move has been delayed again. Hang in there, my friend. Sending hugs. xx
Beautiful card Viv, love the colours. Fingers crossed for you to have a move soon
