Update!

 Hello blogland!
So here's a quick update - now settling in nicely in our new home.๐Ÿก It took such a long time but now that is all behind us and we can start enjoying. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Š
My craft room is just about done and I am looking forward to finding Mr Mojo (deffo still in a cardboard packing box๐Ÿ“ฆ somewhere) and being able to get back to making.
BUT........ we will not have any broadband connection for another 3 weeks AT LEAST!๐Ÿ˜ก To say we were disappointed with the timescale is an understatement, particularly when we booked it in December - but the date they gave us in February they had to cancel because of staffing issues and the next available one is 15th March.... so let's hope no more cancellations on that front - not least because I am having to use my mobile phone data and loading pics uses up lots!

All that said just to show that I have not deserted blogland I have a share and promise once the broadband connection is sorted I shall spend days visiting everybody!!

Black card base and an old embossing folder and then rubbed a Versamark ink pad across it. Sprinkled off the edge of a spoon embossing powders in copper, silver and platinum. Finished with a little gilding wax to create the faux metal look.

Quite happy with the way this turned out and made for no other reason other than I unpacked the stuff!

I have a post already scheduled for 1st March and then I shall be back very soon after - broadband connection permitting - and once it is I will have a little giveaway for my loyal blogging buddies to show how much I appreciate those who have stuck by me for such a long time.
I hope you are all safe and well and send everyone hugs! x
PS - I notice that many of my followers pics have disappeared - is this normal? Did I miss something? Or has everyone left me????!!!

So happy you are settled into your new digs and things are getting sorted. No internet connection is so hard ... especially for bloggers! :) Hopefully the next three weeks will fly by (time flies, I hear) and you will be up and connected with the world.

Your card is amazing Viv. LOVE the gorgeous embossed image and the mix of embossing powders gives it a beautiful, vintage feel. Love it! Take care. xx

What a stunning card Viv. I have quite a few embossing folders that have been neglected for a long time, so perhaps time to dig them out now and give this technique a go as it looks really effective. I also have lost a lot of my followers pics, they are just showing as a blue square with a silhouette head on! they seem to still be there but their photos have completely gone but I have no idea why. Can’t wait for your broadband to get up and running again, so that we can see you back here in blog land more often. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

Pleased to hear that you are settling in nicely at long last but what a shame about the delay in getting broadband set up, fingers crossed it will happen on schedule this time. Brilliant metallic effect on this card, just love it. The loss of follower pics is a mystery to me as well so will be interested to see if anyone comes up with an explanation as to why they've disappeared.

Stunning card Viv, I love the embossing. I’ve no idea why some of your follower pics have disappeared, the same thing has happened on my blog. Guess it must be one of blogger current little glitches. xx

What a stunning card Viv, this is right up my street with the grungy rusty look, if only I could run my fingers over it. I'm so glad that you are finally in your new home and hope that you have managed to pack everything away. It's funny with the internet being quite a new thing in the world how quickly that we have become dependent on it being there everytime we want it, hope you will soon be connected.

Good Luck in Your New Home
Sue xx

Beautiful metallic creation Viv...so pleased you've settled in...gosh no broadband for another 3 weeks...it not until you've not got it you do realize how much we do miss it to keep in contact with the outside world...yes I too have lost picture of followers on my blog...
I'm sure once you've opened up all your boxes you'll find your mojo hiding somewhere in one of them..

I am so happy to hear you are in your new home and what a relief that is to you. I feel cut off from the world without internet so I can image how hard that is. This card is beautiful and I can see the shine from the gilding wax. Can't wait to see your new craft room.

I love how you've done up this embossing, Viv! Your mojo is alive and well! I look forward to seeing more frequent posts and hope it will be sooner than later. Not having Internet is worse than not having a phone, I think.

Good news to hear you're settling into your new home...but that internet can be a real hassle, we've become so used to it making our communications so much faster.. it's a pity the can't install faster. Great card Viv - lots of texture, Robyn

Just catching up Viv (I don't get much blogging time these days). Glad you're all settled in your new home and it must be a joy to unpack all your crafts boxes and I love the effect you've created with this folder - looks like a good 'play' session.
I've just checked my blog phots and I've got a lot of blue square followers but like others, I don't know why.
Hope there's no more delays with the broadband.
