A Day Late

I am a day late posting the winners from my little give-away (see previous post) but sad to say having managed to stay safe for 2 years, done everything I should have done, it appears that a trip as a treat to a large garden centre and a sit for coffee and cake resulted in the damn virus deciding to settle on me.👹

I know for many people they say the symptoms are 'mild' - well if this is mild I am so thankful I didn't get severe!
Thank God for the vaccine is what I say. I have been incredibly unwell for the last 5 days and ventured out of my bed this morning for the first time.
I feel a little better, the throat is not so sore and the cough is not so hacking but the fatigue is immense and I am keeping fingers crossed that tomorrow I may improve a little more.👍

Anyway - enough of my tales of woe -

2 Winners 📣🎉🎈

Bundle 2 - Memory Box Stamp Graceful Fern, Snowflake Slimline Stencil and a circle die is Mac Mable

so sorry to hear that you've caught Covid and that is has made you feel so rotten. Hope you are well on the mend now, just take it easy for a while. Congratulations to the winners. You are right fewer people are blogging nowadays but I'm hanging in there, not keen on Facebook.

Congratulations to the winners of your giveaway.

So sorry to hear that Covid has caught up with you, Viv. Your symptoms sounds so similar to mine, which started 12 days ago. I spent the first five days in bed feeling so ill, with an awful sore throat and cough and feeling SO tired. I took the advice to continue resting as much as possible and the symptoms gradually improved. Just struggling a little with tiredness now, although nothing like it was at the beginning. So keep resting and drinking lots of fluids and hopefully you will be over the worst of it now. Take care and wishing you a speedy recovery. xx

Oh Viv, how annoying! Hope you're not too ill with it. We'd managed to avoid it as well but my son had it last week. It's so frustrating when you do all the right things to avoid it!

Congrats to the winners of your generous giveaway. I am so sorry to hear that you caught the virus, just by doing something so ordinary, it is so disappointing, and even more so that you have been so unwell with it. I really hope you will be completely better soon xx
