Is Spring here?

It has taken me a long time to shake off the virus despite having all my jabs - I know for many symptoms are mild but there are others like me who have been really poorly.
I have tested negative for the last 5 days but still have a cough which I am told may be with me for several weeks yet 😖. At least I am feeling a little more human!

Despite having this beautiful new craft room am finding it quite difficult to get back into creating - there are so many other things I want to be doing, not least my garden!

We had a couple of days of lovely weather and I thought Spring had arrived - then we suddenly had overnight frosts, very strong winds, rain and plummeting daytime temperatures.
It's really cold here at the mo and those few spring flowers which are out are probably regretting showing their faces.

This spring offering was simply made from left over bits of cardstock, using this lovely Alexander Renke Crocus die which has become one of my all time faves.

A quick and simple card that didn't tax me too much!

I have been AWOL from the Playground - keeping my germs to myself - but I am poking my nose through the gates with this make!
Thanks for stopping by - I hope all is well with you in your part of blogland. x

Lovely to see you in the Playground and pleased to hear you are beginning to feel a bit better after getting Covid. This really is a very pretty card and I'm loving the die, very Springlike. The weather doesn't seem to be able to make up its mind - a few milder and sunny days a couple of weeks ago and since then really changeable with a bit of everything, heavy frost, cold winds, rain and a bit of sunshine but definitely chilly in general. Take care and I hope you continue to improve.

Aww Viv . . . sooo glad you're out of the woods and are feeling better, if not fully fit yet.

What a lovely piece of homework you've submitted to the Snippets Playground. Gorgeous dies and lovely colouring.

Now, let me see what I've got in my satchel that's good for coughs! Hmmm, I have some lemon and honey . . . and a little snifter of whisky . . . that should see you right!

Hugs from Sarnie xxx

I hate to hear the cough is still hanging on and hope it keeps getting less and less. Your card is beautiful. I love the background and the spring colors are so pretty.

What a beautifully designed and executed card. Love the soft colours of your spring flowers. I am desperately hoping that things will warm up this week. I completely understand your issue with competing priorities, especially at this time of year. I am so sorry that the Covid hit you so hard, it is a shame that it is impossible to know how any individual will react to it. We are still staying very close to home for that very reason, but it is getting hard xx

Your card is lovely, and I'm sure it took a lot of effort considering your health! It's a pretty crocus, and will make it's presence known at The Playground.

Hope you're much improved soon!
