Lilac

A quiet Christmas Day (usual ate too much),  and an even quieter Boxing Day (except for me watching the football last night ⚽⚽⚽⚽!!), which has been followed by another lazy day!
I have though made a couple of cards (who got new stash for Christmas then????😁😁)
The ones made with the new stash will be shared as soon as the light allows - weather here is typical grey skies/drizzly rain and misty!

So in true 'Blue Peter' tradition - here's one I made earlier!

Another quick card - which was specifically made so I could use the sentiment as someone I know has had some bad news about a family member and now needs to make and store as many memories as they can in the coming weeks.

Purple shades are also not a colour I use very much but I like the blending of these - Shaded Lilac, Picked raspberry and Wulted Violet.

The Dandees are by Lavinia, heat embossed in white.

Blogland understandably is very quiet at the moment!
I have busied myself  getting ahead with some DT makes so I won't be rushing last minute.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and thanks for visiting! x

OOh I like this Viv...though it sounds like it could be sad occasion that prompted it's creation. You can't have been lazy if you have been crafting! My craft room is closed till......probably new year....jigsaws waiting!...and knitting....and cross stitch...oh and feeding hubby in between...lol! xx

I love the purple tones on the background and how you used white for the flowers, for a softer look. From your description your card seems to fit the occasion you made it for.

Colour is perfect with the white embossing and for the sentiment. Sounds very much like our Christmas. Quiet and caught up on a lot of tv programmes we had stored up to watch. I have one card to make for a gd assignment so need to get going on that. Hugs Mrs A.

A lovely and thoughtful card, background is just right. Look forward to seeing what you make with your new stash. Dark and dreary here too, might try to make a card or two to lighten the day once I've put the Christmas stash away.

I adore that mix of colours Viv and a great sentiment to go with those pretty dandelion clocks. Why is it when there are masses of them in a field we love them but when they pop up in our lawns we curse them...lol. I'm looking forward to seeing lots more of wonderful creations throughout 2020...it has a good ring to it doesn't it. x
