I have never had much success with Bleaching techniques but the challenge over at CAS Mix Up this month was just that, so thought I would have another go.
The background was an experimental piece trying colours out together and left in the 'may get
round to using one day' pile!
I gold embossed the flower stamp and then lifted out the colour. I was tempted to simply use water but determined to have another effort with the bleach!
There are a couple of places where I went outside the embossing slightly but it didn't turn out too bad.
Instead of leaving it, I tried to colour it with Distress Inks - not sure that this was a success or not as apart from anything else my shading leaves a little to be desired! Can't quite make my mind up about this card - I think it may have been better left alone as the background is quite dark but too late now!
My elements for the challenge are Bleaching, Stamping, Heat Embossing and Watercolouring.

Oh Viv this is so beautiful!! I love the flowers and the BG! Thanks so much for playing along at CAS Mix Up!
Lovely colours here and a great CAS layout.
This is very bright and pretty Viv and I love the design with the rectangular aperture and love the flourishy sentiment which goes perfectly. x
Well I think it has turned out brilliantly. I like how you have positioned the window in the corner, I always find it really hard not to centralise everything! Lovely colours, lovely card xx
This is really lovely Viv. That touch of pink in the background is perfect for the flowers and the bleaching looks great.

I’ve never heard of this bleach technique before so I had to watch a few You Tube videos. Do you use normal bleach as for household?
The stuff sure allows to get a good variety of color shades. I think the layout for this card is fantastic.
Looks OK to me Viv but then we are always more critical of our own work...I like your colour choice and layout and it is a very pretty stamp too. xx
Your card is beautiful, Viv! I LOVE the colours in the background. The flower is so vibrant it stands out. It is more difficult to get shading once you've bleached the paper, but you did an amazing job! I love the layout and design too! xx
Gorgeous cas card with lovely use of bleach technique. Thanks for joining us at Sweet Stampin. Pat K xx
Well at first due to the title, I thought you were doing your cloths. A really fab creation and I have never tried it myself but i think you have triumphed on this one.

Viv, your single flower is so pretty against that gorgeous blue background. wonderful job with the bleaching. I love your offset window as a frame.
It's a lovely design Viv, I do a lot of bleaching, fund it works well with inky backgrounds.

This looks terrific, the boldness of colour in the cut out window is very effective and the stamp very pretty. xx
Love this background with the pretty flowers, Viv! I always go outside the lines and that's how I fix it. Looks perfect to me! Love the framing off center with the sentiment balancing the design!
A beautiful card Viv, its a long while since I tried that technique and I didn't like how mine turned out.
Stay safe.
