I have been using up a few alco inked backgrounds.
I know the sea isn't pink but in my fantasy world it can be whatever colour it likes - and besides which I had used up the blue backgrounds already!
There was tho' something about this inked piece which made me think of shafts of light coming through the surface of the water (despite it's colour!)
This is another 'stencil traced' card and as there are a couple of days left at our challenge over at CAS Mix Up I shall pop this into our gallery - there are some GORGEOUS cards in there this month and everyone who has never tried doing this before has said they have loved it!
It's a great way of getting a different effect with your stencils and stretching your stash a little bit further.
The seahorse die was one of the better freebies from a magazine some time back and I layered him/her/it up to pop up off the card.
This little seahorse safely swam it's way across the ocean to one of my teamies for her Birthday so can share it here now.

A beautiful card Viv, I like your fantasy world sea colour.

I skipped right over my circle stencil when I was looking for one to do this challenge with. You just brought that stencil to life with the tracing. The bright pink made a happy sea and the seahorse has found a new home.
Super vibrant card - the sea could well be this colour on Mars - if there is any sea there ☺
Fabulous background and a lovely die and a great use of the lovely stencil. Maybe you saw the sea as pink after a couple of pink gins!

The water may be reflecting a gorgeous sunset! Love how you've outlined the "bubbles" and that sweet seahorse! This really is a fun technique!

Why not pink sea Viv, and it does look great with the pretty white seahorse, and love the different outlined circles. A beautiful finished look. x
Fun card! I do see those rays of light coming through the Pink Sea
Gorgeous underwater scene using your alcohol ink background, traced bubbles stencil and simply beautiful die cut seahorse, Viv. Love the font on your stamped sentiment too. TFS and so pleased you joined us again at CAS Mix Up Stencil Tracing Challenge. Love and Hugs...Nancy
LOVE this bright pink background with swirls of colour. So amazing and then even more amazing with the oulined bubbles. Perfect with your white die-cut seahorse. This is even more amazing in real life --- it has a place of honour on my mantel. :) Thank you Viv!
Beautiful pop of colour with the stencil outlining, keeping this seahorse white definitely adds to this beauty. The black matting and sentiment are perfect. Thanks for joining us at CAS Mix Up!
