CAS Mix Up October Mid Month Reminder

My challenge of Tone on Tone stencilling over at CAS Mix Up has reached the mid way stage. Hope you can join in - it really is an easy technique and gives some great effects with your stencils.

For my mid month card I used Altenew inks.

I masked off the top part of the cardstock and used a brush to blend the lightest of the 3 inks ('Pink Diamond') on the bottom of the card.

The balloon stencil is from Hunkydory and was sponged with 'Pinkalicious' ink.

I took a piece of scrap card and blended the darkest of the 3 shades (Rubellite) across it then used it to die cut the 3 balloons

A little bit of twine and a sentiment along with a tiny bit of blingy on the balloons to finish.

Hope you will have a go at my challenge this month - and please check out the amazing creations from the rest of the DT!
We're delighted to have the wonderful  Pat (Colourful Card Creations),  as our Guest Designer this month and she's made a fab card and I'd really appreciate it if you paid her a visit!

Thanks for looking today. x

Love that curve and the balloon strings. I bet it was a fiddle to get them to stay where you wanted them. The pink is gorgeous too xx

Another beautiful tone on tone creation Viv and I love the pretty in pink tones for the sparkly balloons with their baker's twine strings, and echoed in the wonderful curved shaped and inked bottom area of the card, and love the way the sentiment follows the curve. x

Such a clean and sweet card. Just my kind. Love the wavy strip of tone on tone balloons, repeating the theme with the shiny die cuts. Definitely a card to celebrate. Thank you so much for this new to me technique, I definitely will use this again. Great challenge!! xx
