Sparkly Flower

Whilst doing my DT makes for the CAS Mix Up challenge of 'Gels and Pastes', I made a couple more so this one is destined to be added to our gallery which is full of gorgeous creations!
(I'll share the others I made at some point.)

I love this floral spray stencil from Honey Doo - it comes as a pair - this smaller one and a really large one big enough to fill a DL card (which I have - twice!!)

I used another Honey Doo stencil for the background and inked lightly in pastel colours.

The floral spray was done using Glitter Kiss paste which is amazingly sparkly and I love it!
Finished with a gold embossed sentiment.

I am though having a lot of bother trying to find somewhere inside the new place to get decent pics, eventually I will find somewhere that isn't full of shadows or is that bright everything looks ice blue white!

We've had some beautiful weather the last few days - fingers crossed we get more of the same!

Hope the sun is shining in your part of blogland and thanks for looking. x

Beautiful card Viv, an elegant design and I love the subtle stencilling. I sometimes used to spend more time taking photos of my cards than making them, trying to get rid of shadows and a photo which showed the true colours. That all changed when I treated myself to a light box. I wish I’d bought one earlier. xx

I love the interest of the light stenciled background with that gorgeous sparkly flower, Viv! Those pastes are a bit addictive aren't they?

Oh how lovely this is. The spray is gorgeous and done in Glitter Kiss (what a great name) made it elegant. I love sentiment embossed in gold too. The soft stenciling is a great idea.

The sun has been shining brilliantly here too, it has been very welcome and always cheers things up. I love this card and both the stencils you have used. I often look at Honey Doo products but haven't actually bought any yet, which is a shame as they are actually based in Suffolk the other side of the county to where I live. One day I will visit their shop, they open it regularly. Love all the sparkly gold on your card xx

Beautiful card Viv! Love the soft stenciling in the background and your gorgeous, glittery, gold stenciled flowers. Making multiples when you have paste out is a great idea. It is messy, so one clean up after making a few cards is a great idea. xx
