This stamp was a mag freebie - again from last year- (or was it the year before??)
Another item in this craftie space that is still in its cellophane and hasn't been manhandled by me.
I think the expression on the gull is priceless! He looks quite stern and fed up sat on his wooden posts.
Stamped, watercoloured and fussy cut before tucking him behind the framed wave stencil.
I thought this was another suitable 'man' card - which I desperately need in my stash
There's bags of wonderful inspiration over on the CAS Stencil blog and I know my teamies would really appreciate a visit and a comment if you have time.
Hope too that you will make something with a stencil and show your creation in our gallery - because
ITS OUR FIRST BIRTHDAY!!
So we're celebrating and have a prize on offer this month!
What you waiting for?????

That stencil is perfect with the grumpy seagull. I love the colours you have used and how they have blended together so nicely xx
Love your wavy stencil background Viv works so well with your seagull image

I love the stencil with the swirly waves Viv, and great in blue and green, and the seagull on the post looks perfect just tucked under the frame with bits trailing over and wonderful fussy cutting, a super look. I think this is a set of stamps which came with a magazine last summer. I got it too as I remember thinking there were lots of stamps with three different packs of them, and if it isn't these then they are very similar. Sorry to leave lots of comments at once but have been away and am playing catch up. x
A great card Viv, love the stencil and the lovely sea-gull, a brilliant design and great background colours too.

Your seagull on the post is the perfect image to use with your wave-like stenciling Viv! so pretty in the mix of blues and greens- love how you cut the ropes and hung them over the frame! Yay for getting out things never used! (I have so many as well - and yet I keep buying more!) xx
I had to laugh at the gulls stern face...Now he must be smiling, since you used your wave stencil for the 1st time:-) Loved the colors you used for your waves. TFS my friend. Hugs..Nancy
That stencil deserved to be used and it is just right as a background to the gull. It seems we are both topping up our supply of male cards - great minds and all that. I dread to think how many items I have lying unused - scary really.
I really love how you blended your blues and greens on this stencil, and pairing it with the gull was genius, Viv! Beautiful card!
Your wave stenciled background is AWESOME! Definitely glad you pulled out the stencil and used it. So perfect with the seafull on the wooden posts. It's a fabulous masculine card Viv! xx
Really really like this one...super background and stern seagull...great for those male cards. xx
great combination Viv with the wavy stencil and the cute little gull waiting patiently on the post for a fish :)
What a fabulous masculine card and great use of that stencil Viv x.
I had a good giggle over the grumpy seagull ... a beautiful stencil background makes him shine.

We have a few that look like that on Douglas prom, especially around lunchtime!!!
