Birthday

Having ventured outside in the howling gale earlier I quickly made my mind up that the best place to be was sat in the warm in the craft space!
So here is today's share.

Stencilled background to start then stamped the ferns in shades of brown and a few meadow grasses in green.

The flowers were stamped, watercoloured and fussy cut.
I added a few drops of Perfect Pearls in the centre

I would never hurt a bee but I am not fond of them near me - (I hate wasps even more!), so to me the best place for me to look at a bee is here on a card!

It took a bit of fussy cutting but I managed it in the end.

He has glossy accents on his wings and I quite like him (as long as he stays on the card!)

Indoors and crafting is definitely the best choice for today - very grey and wet here with quite a breeze as well. Love this card with its lovely colours and I agree about the bee - definitely best on a card.

Love the summery feel of this card. You must have the patience of a saint to fussy cut that bee. I am sure he would have lost a leg if I had tried xx

In North Bucks where I am, we have a balmy breeze today and I strolled about on a dog walk with no coat on! Winter is certainly a distant memory on your beautiful card. I absolutely love it - the stencilling, the background stamping, those amazing flowers and, the star of the show, Mr Bee! A work of art Viv! Vicky x

Such a pretty bee and flowers too, Viv! I don't like bees too close but love to see them on my flowers. They are too few bees around these days!

Beautiful card Viv! Love your honeycomb stenciling in the background and your gorgeous stamped leaves and fussy-cut flowers. I do love spring cards and this is just what we need during all the cold, snow and rain of the season right now. I'm with you about wasps, I have been stung a few times of the past couple of years, which have been very painful. Honey bees are so sweet and they don't normally sting unless they are provoked, so I'm happy to leave them be. :) Amazing work of fussy-cutting the intricate legs and antennae! xx

This is so bright and cheerful. Your sponging is lovely and the flowers are so pretty. Fussy cutting that bee is a work of art and patience but he looks great getting ready to light on the flowers.
