Ombre

Had a couple of hours last night in the craft space, so made a couple of cards for challenges.
This one is for this month's CAS Mix Up, which is being hosted by the wonderful Mac (who has so much talent she annoys me!!!😉😉 )

She chose Ombre as her theme so my card combines Ombre technique with ink, Stamping, heat embossing and die cutting.

My stamp is from WOW and called Tropical Flowers. Heat embossed in white then added the inks - I used just two shades, Fired Brick and Candied Apple.
Chopped my card front and popped the panel into the card then re-assembled the card front.

The die cut sentiment had about 20 positions before ending up where it is!
The heat embossed greeting placed underneath the die cut was done on an offcut from the ombre technique.

Fantastic ombre CAS card, Viv! I love that you used ombre effect for both the panel and the die-cut sentiment. You combined the emboss resist technique with the beautiful red ombre effect so well. The position of the die-cut sentiment is perfect! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at CAS Mix Up!

Wow...Gorgeous heat embossed flowers with Ombre coloring, Viv!!! I think your placement ended up perfect, especially with the way you placed your die cut and stamped sentiments. Loved your color combos too. TFS Hugs...

Thank you Viv for your kind and fun comment, which made me chuckle x
What a beautiful card with such a pretty blending ombre effect x. The white heat embossing of the flowers looks wonderful and so does that die cut sentiment x. Yes I know exactly what you mean about the placement of sentiments....takes me ages too! You have it spot on....
Thank you for joining in The CAS Mix Up Challenge with your stunning card x

I adore that pretty stamped panel Viv and the way you have it fading to white. I was surprised when I read that you used just two reds as further up it looks quite pink in the photo, and the ombre die cut sentiment with the sentiment strip below also heat embossed in the white goes beautifully. A stunning card! x

Quite a beauty Viv! The soft gradation from the white to the dark is so perfectly dosed, what a beautiful transition. The word die is amazing as well. The whole monochromatic pink truly works for me. Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Mix Up! xx

This is a lovely example of ombré - a bit of a 'different take' on it and I love it.
