Happy Hug

Earlier this week I was suffering just a tiny bit, feeling quite .... 'restless' (only word I can think of to describe it).  Even though restrictions have eased a bit here we are still preferring to be careful and not go anywhere unnecessarily - but yesterday we had a 15 minute drive to a local garden centre which cheered me up no end. The car was a little full on the way back!
So my plans for today were after our walk,to plant up the lovely things from yesterday - the forecast said a light breeze and sunny spells until Sunday - perfect for me - light breeze??? LIGHT BREEZE???

We got up this morning and 3 of my new plant stash were blown over and rolling about on the patio. The wind has been ridiculous all day - and tomorrow is going to be the same -  I am not happy!!!!
Simply impossible to do anything outside - apart from to secure all the plants together - so to those of you who commented on the post with the pics of where I live (here) - yes it is a lovely place - until the winds arrive!

So off to the craft space and whilst listening to the howling outside made this from a piece of left over smooshed background.

The sentiment shape was not intentional! I stamped onto a piece in between where I had cut out the flowers to see if I liked the text size next to the delicate dies intending if I thought it was OK to stamp onto a bigger left over piece and diecut.
But I liked the shape so just snipped it off and used it!

Beautiful card Viv, lovely shade of green and a super design. Love the random shape of the sentiment panel. This is the first week in lockdown when it's really got me down. A trip to visit my daughter for the first time yesterday, socially distancing outside, was the boost I needed. Hope you get to plant all your new purchases for the garden centre tomorrow. xx

What a beautiful design and dimension Viv. Just getting in the car makes me fell better with this shelter in place order. At least our weather is starting to warm up a bit.

Such a gorgeous shade of green, like the die and the sentiment shape. Been chasing empty plastic watering cans down our lane that Hubby had left out side, don't know why I bothered doing my hair this morning.
Have a lovely weekend.

I love the serenity this card offers Viv..peaceful, cool colours. arty and a lovely design. Its been blowing a gale here for the past couple of days and have battled the wind today to secure the climbing rose. Shame about your plants though...hope they survive. xx

I hadn't noticed the shape of the sentiment Viv - it works perfectly as the smooshed bloom looks like it's growing out of the ground. The background splatters are lovely too. Shame about your plants - they're always getting the weather wrong here and it's always when my washing's hung out!

Its a beautiful card Viv, and a lovely sentiment. We all need a hug these days I think.
I hope the wind has calmed down and you get your planting done. We have that kind of wind here as well, who ever describes the wind a a light breeze should come and experience the real thing now and again.
Stay safe.

What a pretty card Viv. It is so delicate and had a little chuckle how the shape came to be with the sentiment strip x.
Hope you are feeling brighter and yes the winds have been horrendous up our way too? Much better weather today and even a little warmth in the air x.
