A very foggy damp day - can't even see the fields at the bottom of the garden, so another day of staying put (not that we could go anywhere even if we wanted to! 😄)
I was supposed to be trying for a 'no buy' month this month after us having a rather hefty bill for a new central heating boiler - - - I can at least say I tried.....???
I have made a few cards with it and a first for me - I have actually used all the stamps in the set! So there will be more to show in the future but today I am just sharing a quick CAS make.
The stencil background is also from Funky Fossil (it just sort of fell into my basket🙈) - simply inked in Cracked Pistachio and Spun Sugar.
The single blossom stamp heat embossed, watercoloured and fussy cut and just popped on with foam pads.
I like the simplicity of this card - at a time when there is so much uncertainty and sadness I needed to make something serene and uncomplicated.

This is truly beautiful...quite serine...fabulous delicate colouring with a lovely focal image and a super sentiment. As for buying new stash..what else is there to look forward to?...so a packet through the door has to be eh? xx

Gorgeous card Viv! Love the soft stenciling in the background. It's a beautiful image that frames your flower perfectly. Pink and green is a great colour combo and I agree that it is peaceful and calming. Something we all need. Funny how you said about not spending but had to buy the new heater. Seems like there was some craft shopping going on as well. :) It is exciting to get those packages in the mail! xx

The thing is Viv, that it is very important to be supporting local companies and so in a way you had to buy this set - am I right?! Something like that LOL! Anyway, you've made the most beautiful card with it. I love the soft stencilling and those gorgeous colours and that lotus flower is absolutely stunning as the centre piece. I see Sarah is doing 20% off at FF this weekend so I might just have to take your advice and be kind to myself! Vicky x
