Pretty Papers at TIOT

New challenge time at Try It On Tuesday!
Theme is 'PRETTY PAPERS', so we want to see paper somewhere on your project!

Like so many crafters I bought papers and liked them too much to use - so I made a promise not to buy any more and for several years now I have stuck to that promise.

I sent lots to the local charity shop and gave boxes away to a local school - but I kept just a few that were just too precious to part with. (That 'precious' none of them have seen the light of day for years and the paper box was under a ton of stuff in a cupboard!)

I remembered making a card very similar to this a long time ago so rooted about in the paper box and found these beautiful pink themed heavy textured papers - it is that long ago I have no idea where they came from.

I stitched them onto the card base after sticking some lace across the join.

My 'rose' centre is made from lots of tissue paper and a spellbinders flower die, fiddly to cut and assemble together but worth it I think.

A scrap of lace and a piece of pink card cut with the largest flower die helped me secure the layers together with a pearl brad in the centre and through a die cut label.
Sentiment and a tiny butterfly inked in pale pink to finish it all off.

Having not done anything remotely lacey and shabby for a while it was a change to do this and not get my fingers in an inky mess!

Please pop over to the blog and check out what our Guest Designer and the rest of the team have done - we all love visitors! And of course as always I hope you will join us with your paper projects!

January Card Chain Challenge

My card for the first Card Chain Challenge of 2023 went to Pia in Norway!
There were a few challenge options to choose from this time and I managed a couple - the colour option is always the one I go to first but this month I was also able to use the Product/Technique option of Distress Oxides and as Pia and I have been following each others blogs for some time now she is amongst my blogland 'friends' so I also could use one of the theme options too.

Here's my make. Over time I have made a few of these using the same basic design but in different colours. Blue shades, Orange shades  and Lilac shades to name just 3!
This is the first one using Pink!

A little moon mask started the background and I blended some Picked Raspberry round it first then moving downwards lightly, before swapping the colour for Saltwater Taffy to fade it down.

The darker of the floral branches were stamped with Altenew Razzleberry ink.

The second and third gen stamping was done using Versafine Clair Charming Pink. The stamp is from an Oriental Blossom set by Inkylicious.

I die cut the branch and birds and then gave the birds a quick blend with the remainder of the  Picked Raspberry left on the blender.
Added the little sentiment and then die cut the arched frame (Moonstone Dies) for the panel to sit behind.

It's not an exact replication of the colours on the challenge post but not far off!
I received a lovely card from Carol - and if you fancy joining in this month you have until 6th Feb to sign up - just go to the CCC blog!

Thanks for looking today - I hope everything is well in your part of blogland. x

October Card Chain Challenge

Today is the day of the big reveal for the October Card Chain Challenge.
This is the first time I have taken part in this and it was fun to create something that I knew would be going to Robyn in Australia.
This month I used the option of the Fantasy Folk theme along with the colour palette option (I am not very good with sketches!)

The colours don't have to be exact matches so here's my card

(Oh and before you say there's no 'folk' on the card they were far too cold so have gone indoors!)

For my 'silver' I used Iced Spruce Oxide, my 'blush' was a combination of Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet (cos I didn't think the Spun Sugar was enough on it's own) and my 'frost' element is the ice on the tree achieved by white watercolour with a thin coating of Nuvo shimmer.

I did the background ink blending first then stamped the Inkylicious fir trees.

I then remembered that the Inkylicious icy tree branch is also meant to go on the right!

So I stamped it onto acetate and then pressed down onto the card to get a reverse impression then went over the outline with a black pencil.

The fairy tree pods and the little house are Lavinia.

I really enjoyed doing this - I hope it got to Robyn in time and that she liked it!

Blue Part 2 (and a bit of Pink!)

A quick share!
This was one of those stamps that I HAD to have as soon as I saw it.  No idea why as I am not/never have been/never will be a Ballet Dancer! But there was just something about it that appealed to me.
I made 2 cards in different colours -
and can tell you they were both terrible to photograph!
We have had so much rain and grey skies, taking pics of anything has been really difficult.

Both cards coloured the same with watercolours - although wasn't happy about my shading with the blue one - as the paint mix (shades of blue and white) is so obviously different to  the shoes.

I stamped both in Smokey Grey as I wanted a softer overall look.

The 'Dance' sentiment is from SU and the 'Dream' one from an old set (make unknown).

I am submitting the blue card as another entry into CAS Watercolour where the theme this month is 'Blue'.

I am off to the British Isles International Series tomorrow for a few days - a short one hour's flight away.
Keeping everything crossed that the deadful rain ☂☂ we have been experiencing for such a long time here in the UK has now moved away to give us some dry days while play takes place!
#TEAMENGLAND💪

Thanks for taking the time to visit me - I will catch up with you all very soon. x

Crafty time!

I am doing a little happy dance as although I have a few things to do this week, most are in the house so I can pop in and out of the craftie space and make messy to my hearts content and up to now next week is the same too!
Spent yesterday finishing a baby card (can't show yet!), and writing some of my Christmas cards - (that's a bit of a fib really - I print labels and just add a couple of kisses if the recipient warrants it! But I DO write the envelopes!)
So here's another Christmas card from me today to share
I love Pink.... bet you didn't know that did you??😄😄
For some reason I like to make Pink Christmas cards and here's another.
A few snippets used here so am away to the Playground to check out what has been going on!

The trees are silver embossed and the pink is of course Spun Sugar DI.

I had some silver pearlised card left over from another card so die cut two snowflakes and layered them together.

The silver ribbon was used on a card I received last year - there wasn't a lot of it but I managed to make it stretch just enough!

The sentiment was stamped in Silver ink and a sparkly gem added to the middle of the snowflakes.

The pic quality is really poor - but then so is the light here at the mo!
Joining in at
Crazy 4 CAS - Fave colour (Pink!)
MMM - Non Trad Christmas colour
TIOT - Winter Wonderland
Beccy's Place - X for Xmas

Thanks for visiting today - hope all is well in your part of blogland. xx

Pink

Another Christmas/Winter themed card to share today.

I am trying very hard to use up my coloured cardstock - in reality I am never going to even make a dent in it, but like to kid myself that I am being very good 😇and I am making inroads into the paper mountain.
I have rather a lot of pearlised card in pastel shades.   Hardly Used.    Ever.
Took a pink piece out and was going to make a baby card.    Ended up with this.

No excuses except
1. The stamp was out on the desk as I had used it for something else
and
2. I was inspired by a card seen some years ago on the talented Birgit's blog

This has to go down as one of the quickest cards I have made.
Stamped then embossed the trees in Silver EP onto watercolour card. The stamp is actually quite a big one so I cut off a bit from the top.
I used Victorian Velvet DI as it was the nearest pink shade to the base card and whilst waiting for it to dry I stamped the sentiment (From SU) and silver embossed.
When my watercolour panel was dry, I dotted some sparkly stuff all over it then attached it to the base card. Finished!
I've left the stamp out on the desk. I've left the pearlised card out on the desk too. Might as well batch make a load for Christmas in different shades - I can carry on believeing in that one day I will get to the bottom of the paper pile😏😉!
Linking up to
Allsorts - Christmas
CASual Fridays - Pink and Grey (second entry)
52CCT - Silver (hoping there is enough silver on this card!)

We are off to warmer climes tomorrow😎😎 for a short break to stay with some friends. Have a great week and will catch up with you all when I come back! x

A week?

Have spent a couple of days this week just a short drive from home in the beautiful Lake District. My duties start again next week so it was nice to just spend a couple of days away relaxing. My travelling starts again next week and although it is not as intense a year for me there is still much expected and much mileage involved!

This make came about by me trying to practice making scenes.
I have no idea why I chose to colour it pink - although in my defence I did a similar one in blue.
I am not sure about that one either!
I am hoping that someone somewhere likes it......😊
Picked Raspberry, Victorian Velvet and Spun Sugar.
I matted it onto a piece of black card but when I put onto a white base it was really stark and 'in your face'. My solution was to brush the ink dusters over the white card......  😨
I am hoping that those 'master scene makers' out in blogland will be kind when commenting!
I am linking up at Allsorts where the challenge is 'Pink' and also over at Crop Stop's May's Linky Party (Anything Goes)

It is a really nice day here so am going to spend a couple of hours fiddling with the patio pots.
Thanks for visiting - will be around to catch up with you all later - Enjoy your Day! x

Thankful for Saturday

Another week almost gone - and I shall be glad to see the back of it. It has been just been a week of devastatingly sad news - and it seems even worse as it is so close to Christmas.
Cards are done and most posted thankfully. Still no sign of any Christmas Tree in the house or any decorations!
Am not big into Christmas - bit of Bah Humbug here! I think it's because it's a time for families to be together and as we are rather short of relatives (!!!!!) I find myself not wanting to be bothered with all the rigmarole that surrounds it - - apart from of course eating Christmas Dinner!!!!
Will get round to putting the tree up sometime this week no doubt - we are doing our usual cooking Christmas Lunch for 40 at the Club next Saturday.
Here's another NBUS!
Have rather a lot of these 'never before used stamps'.
Seeing something similar on Pinterest I thought I would give this a go.

The large background stamp was gold embossed and coloured with Distress inks in shades of pink and green.

I ragged the edge a bit and sponged a little Antique Linen DI round it and a little randomly on the stamped bit.

Stamped the top only of the smaller bauble onto a scrap piece and decoupaged it, adding some tiny blingy bits to the middle.

The poinsettia on the large bauble was done using one of the MUSOC stamps this year -(most used stamp of Christmas). Am surprised it has not worn out.
Coloured with the same DI then layered and a die cut flourish and a big blingy centre.

This really IS a bad photo. The weather here has just been soooooo bad - and it's still raining!
Challenges -
One  Crazy Stamper - Christmas
In the Pink - Pink Christmas
CRAFT- Christmas
That's Crafty - Seasons Greetings
Fussy and Fancy - Happy Holidays
Fantastic Tuesday - A/Goes - Twist Christmas

Thanks for looking and leaving any comments. Have a great weekend! x

Gales and floods

The weather here is the worst I can remember - we are suffering with gales of 70mph plus and so much rain. There's road closures all over the North of England and floods. (Floods thankfully don't affect us as we're so high up on the top but we therefore have the worst of the winds!)
I am not looking forward to a 6 hour drive tomorrow down to the South coast and am hoping that this bad weather eases a little before we leave.
I have spent this morning doing a little shabby card making - which I will show at some point but as we're still in December here's another Christmas offering
A little bit of pinkiness as a change from the trad colours - and another card inspired by Pinterest.
I have had this paper pack for a long time - it was one that I wanted and this is only the second time I have used anything from it. (Typical........)
All over snowflake embossing folder used on two pieces of card. Larger piece matted onto dark pink then base card, smaller embossed piece cut out with a nestie and I ran some Tattered Rose and Spun Sugar DI round the edges.
Aforementioned never before used paper simply cut into 3 tree shapes and stuck onto circle piece with 3d glue.
Added some blingy gems to each tree.
Finished with a double shimmery organza bow - one pink ribbon and the other white.
Sentiment from SU.

Pretty in Pink

I was really pleased to be asked if I would join the Stamping Sensations Design Team - I stepped down from the DT's I was on last year as I wasn't sure if I could manage to make, post, comment and do all the bowling commitments that come with the Vice President post - anyway - I was asked and I said I would do my best and give it a go.
By making well in advance and being able to schedule my own posts I am hoping that I can contribute fully to the team - so here I am - my first post as a DT member!

The April challenge is 'Pretty in Pink' -the challenge rules are that you can use any products you want as long as the focal point of your project is stamping. Our sponsor this month are PDA - ( they sell quality cardstock, pre scored cards and envelopes, essentials such as Spellbinder dies and embossing folders, Imagination Crafts beautiful Sparkle Medium, and some cute charms and crystals from Hobby House.) And they are offering a WHOPPING £40 voucher to be spent at their store!
I used my favourite linen textured white base card. All the stamps were I think a free set from a couple of years ago.
The dress form was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black and I sponged inside the Marianne Die with Spun Sugar DI before cutting.
The spotted back panel was done by masking and then using the same colour DI on a Tim Holtz background stamp before scoring either side of the panel.
The fancy edged banner was stamped onto pink card then fussy cut.
I popped a pearl along each of the 'frilly bits', another on the waist centre of the dress form and a couple along the top of the card.
Other Challenges -
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
Polkadoodles - use a Die
Southern Girls - Dies/Punches
Creative Knockouts - Die Cuts
Scrap & Craft - Frame It
MAWTT - Birthstone colour  (June)

Quite a nice day here - hope you are enjoying your weekend whatever you're doing. x

Lows and Highs

What a week!  Some desperate news over a 48 hour period last weekend, one not unexpected but the other a huge terrible shock and then on Tuesday morning whilst standing on a very cold and windy Railway Station I received a phone call with some amazing news which has now thrown me (and likely the other half) into a wonderful adventure over the next few years!

I don't want to bore you with all the details but I have been elected as Junior Vice President of Bowls England - so the succession means JVP in 2015, Senior VP in 2016, culminating in the Presidency in 2017. I am honoured, excited and maybe a little scared(!!) at the enormity of it all.

(The press release can be viewed a little way down the page here -  https://www.bowlsengland.com/news/page/1/presidential-and-selector-election-results or here  a little way down the page on the Clubs facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bolton-Flat-Green-Bowling-Club/504991522857091)

Anyway that's enough of all that - after all the excitement of the Club of the Year win and now the President thing I need some time out and I am going to spend today making messy - I have promised myself!
 About the card - a commission for a young lady's 3rd Birthday.
Image from All Dressed Up, coloured with promarkers and fussy cut. A wee bit of Frosted Lace stickles on the cake top.
Sentiment computer generated then cut with nesties, papers, lace, ribbon and pearls all from my stash.

Wedding Day!

Time for another challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers (aren't the weeks just flying by?) and this time Sonia has chosen the theme of 'Cut It Out' - so dies and punches are to be used on your project this time and we are sponsored by HOBBY ART STAMPS and DI'S DIGISTAMPS.

I am sharing a Wedding card I made as a commission earlier this month.

I was asked to include some 'pink somewhere' on the card as the Flower Girl attendants were wearing a baby pink colour.

I used my fave linen textured card, rescuing all the offcuts to use for the die cuts!

The background has a punched edge (Martha Stewart punch set) which I edged with Petal Pink ink.

The flower wreath was also randomly sponged with the same ink and some pale pink and  teeny white pearls were glued to the flowers.

The heart and butterfly die cuts also edged with pink ink and a couple more pearls to the butterfly body.
PC generated sentiment to finish.

Other Challenges -

Rudolph Day

I go missing for ages then am back 2 days in a row!!
I'm feeling very pleased with myself as besides the commissions, I am actually making a few cards for my own stash for Christmas - nothing too fancy, mostly CAS and I know that I will still not have anywhere near enough by 1st December - but at least I am trying my best!!!
Rudolph Day is here again and this is my first entry this year (challenge has been running for months and this is the next to last- typical of me-  LOL) -

This 'Christmas Lights' stamp by Penny Black is a 'never before used'/ - don't know why - just found it whilst looking for something else -
OK truthfully I had FORGOTTEN I OWNED IT
so in order to make up for it's years of neglect I made 3 cards with it! (only showing 2 here - saving the other for another day!)
Just plain white card, embossed one in silver the other in pink ( another 'never before used' embossing powder!), matted them onto same coloured card before putting them on base card, then added a few sparklies of the same colour.
Quick, easy and I quite like them! Got lots of different coloured embossing powders crying out to be opened too so likely will have worn out said previously forgotten stamp by the time I've finished my cards.....

Challenges -
PB & More - Christmas
Anything Goes w/a twist- Twist is PINK
Allsorts - Christmas
Completely Christmas - Anything Goes - twist -add a sentiment
Oldie but Goodie - Christmas (stamp)

Not too many hectic days (she says) - Club Presentation tonight, TWO AGM's tomorrow (County and Club) then completely nothing in the diary for a whole week! So once all the minutes are done from the two meetings I intend to shut myself away and chuck ink all over the place!! x

Friday, 25 July 2014

Oh baby!

Have been working my way through a few commissions this week and this is one (can show it as the recipient doesn't do blogland!)

I had HUGE trouble taking a pic of this as it looked very peachy when in fact it is definitely PINK! And lots of it at that!

I stitched the polka dot paper with a zig zag stitch- am getting better with the sewing machine - albeit slowly!
The wide lace was from my stash and I've had it for absolute eons - stitched that then added a smaller picot edge lace to the right.
Hid the join with the pink ribbon which I wrapped round and tied into a bow.
Stuck it all down onto the white base card.

The shoes were made from a template downloaded from the internet and the card was inspired by a similar one I found on Pinterest.
I cut a base from the same paper, layered the inside with white then popped  up the top with foam pads which gave them a little dimension. Slightly distressed the top and bottom layer of the shoes edging in some Spun Sugar DI/

A pearl centred brad and a little lace finished the shoes and they were then glued onto the card.
Completed the card with some flowers from my stash, a few pearls and decorated the inside to match.

The new arrival- Xsara- is the latest addition to a family with two boys - I really liked the sentiment - 'One tiny baby, many happy hearts' - thought it fitted perfectly and I printed it out on the PC.

Alphabet - L for Lace

Deep Ocean - Lots of Layers
Bunny Zoe's - Stitching/Pearls/Sentiment
Whoopsi Daisy - Lots of Pink

No Marmalade for the Toast!

Arrived home at 4am - lovely holiday - fell into bed, got up to .......... RAIN! There's a surprise. Thought about just leaving everything in the case and going straight back! LOL
Missed my making messy though if not anything else and have had a chill out day finishing off a few bits and pieces as I have a busy weekend coming up.
So here is a change from cards -
NOTHING is safe in our house according to the long suffering other half. If it's not cutlery it's marmalade jars!
In my defence I tell him that I use up odd scraps for these projects so am not buying stash.. he believes every word - love him to bits!
So the rinsed out marmalade jar which was waiting to be taken out for recycling walked up 3 flights of stairs on its own to the craftie den and sat looking at me on the desk.

I lifted out the lacy scraps drawer and found a bit of burlap big enough just to wrap round the entire jar. Once glued and dried I added a piece of wide pink lace to the bottom and a smaller width piece to the top then tied some shoestring ribbon round it (in the ridge of the screw top).
The lid was first painted with primer and once dry  overpainted in a pale pink acrylic paint. Some more lace suitably glued on the top and then stitched together in the middle to create a ruffled effect. The vintage drawer knob was in my stash and I fixed it to the top.
Finished the rather untidy edge with some pink braid.
The label was cut from a scrap of paper and I just stamped a bit of text over it with Memento London Fog  (which doesn't show up very well in the pic!). Two pearls to the edge.
Finished it with a pink lace flower (cut from a tatty scrap) and three pearl pins.
Quite happy now! Pretty jar now sat with some of my other bits on the shelf - much better than it being crushed at the recycling centre! LOL (and because it's from scraps and odd bits it's off to the Playground for me!)

Guest Designer!

I was very fortunate to have been asked to do a guest DT spot over at Stamping Sensations.
Their challenge this month is a subject which is close to my heart as it's 'PRETTY IN PINK'!
So here is my contribution -

The papers are from Raspberry Road called 'Antelbellum'. I did some random stamping in Vintage Sepia ink using a flourish stamp from a Stempelglede set and then attacked the edges! (Normal people call this 'distressing - LOL)

I used another stamp from the same set to make the 'postcard'

Used Victorian Velvet DI on all the edges then stitched the layers together.
The vintage lace  stitched across then the main image matted onto plain pale pink card added. This lovely delicate vintage image is a freebie from a fab Dutch site called JanetK which I printed onto linen textured paper.

A die cut heart with a little pearl button, a stamped tag and some hand dyed ribbon for the bow.
Inside co-ordinated to match.
So there it is! Thanks for looking and hope you can join in the challenge this month!
Other Challenges -
Alphabet - Buttons and Bows
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
Creative Romance - Pink/Lace/Ribbon
Crafty Ribbons - Ribbons/Buttons

I have a free day today (3 orders to finish) so will pop round to see you all later. x

Almost at the end.........

............ of Fifth Avenue! Not the one in Manhattan NYC but the one here in my craft room!
It's been a long way, a little pad carefully hoarded but the time has come........ one of my Resolutions was to use up this paper mountain which lives amongst my 'stash'. In fact it has taken over my stash (and the room/drawers/cupboards) and I seriously need to make an effort to
1. Stop buying Paper and
 2. Use up what I already have
(anyone got a secret elixir to make me live till I'm about 200??? 'Cos that's how long it'll take me to get through this lot!)

So today I am looking at an old paper pad which now has just five sheets left which are in usuable condition and size.. ok I know I haven't actually USED IT ALL but I've made a start!

A card made entirely with Melissa Frances 5th Avenue papers - even the focal point.
Grand scalloped nestie for the base card then another circle made with the 'music' sheet from the pad.
Layered with a smaller scalloped circle from one of the blue papers, then a fancy die cut from one of the pink ones.

Sandwiched in between and left to overhang the edges is some pink leaf shaped lace which was cut off a fancy sweater about five years ago!

Two circles cut from a piece of scrap card and mounted to form a frame and the 'ballerinas' from the bottom of another sheet of the paper  stuck inside then layered onto the card.

A hand made paper 'rose', two fabric flowers from my stash and a piece of hand dyed silk ribbon tucked behind.

The sentiment is computer generated and I thought it fitted well!
I don't often make 'shaped cards' so am reasonably happy with this one - and have determined to use up at least 3 of the remaining 5 sheets on the box.
Challenges -
Allsorts - Use Ribbon (no bows)
Musically Challenged - Any Song (Tiny Dancer-Elton John from the film 'Almost Famous')

Another Desk Tidy!

Just mooched about this morning - done some housework and some washing and have listened to the {very} heavy showers!
Came into the craft room armed with the hoover as there's bits of paper all over the floor... got in here and promptly just sat down at the desk abondoning the cleaner in the doorway!
Whilst making the card here last week, I abandoned a piece that I had started work on as the trellis edge had 'buckled' a bit in the middle.

This morning I 'rescued' this piece and set to using up the leftovers from the sheet of textured card and making use of the trellis edge, which I have decided isn't REALLY that bad.

When using up odd bits of card I always opt to use this honeyblossom die! Don't know why, - it's not that I don't have others!!

Embossed the background and after securing the oval frame onto another small piece of card lightly sponged some Spun Sugar DI. Cut out both frame and an aperture, stuck the oval centre flat onto the embossed background and then raised the frame on 3d foam pads.
Tucked in the flower die after sponging with the same ink, die cut a butterfly and added a few tiny pink gems.

No sentiment as yet as I am intending to use this card for myself rather than put in the 'Pink' box so  sentiment will be added when I use it - think though that it will be useful for a few things, Get Well, Birthday, Sympathy so a useful addition to my own card stash!

Hello Baby!

I've had a real nice week - been away for a couple of days playing - first in York then on to  Cumbria for the Ladies Festival. The weather was hot but bearable (just!), had lots of laughs with my teamies and we won the Fours competition on Tuesday! Sadly, though playing Monday and Tuesday did nothing for the neck and shoulder condition and although I gave it another go on Wednesday I have suffered since! So have spent today doing not a lot at all. (Any excuse.....)
All in all though despite all the aches, pains and crunching of bones one of my better weeks!!

I also found time before I went away to do a 'rush job' on a new baby card for one of my team mates to give to a work friend.
Done in a mega hurry don't think it's turned out too bad! And she thought it was fab!

As time was at a premium it had to be CAS - Basic white linen card ran through the favourite and much used Swiss Dots embossing folder then layered onto pale pink.
The pram was inspired by an idea over on Pinterest (where else???? LOL) and is simple to do by just cutting two different sized nestie circles and chopping them in half!

I edged both with some pink and white lace from the stash and added a couple of fabric roses.
The wheels were also cut using a scalloped edge nestie, a circle punch and a tiny flower punch. Layered them all together and popped a pink pearl in the middle.

Handle of the pram was a nestie label die which I chopped up to get the required shape!
LOTV stamp greeting and some pink organza ribbon finished it all off.

Bosom Buddies!

I have sat here for a couple of days trying to come up with something for this week's Less Is More challenge - which is 'Friends'.
I have quite a few stamps that would have fitted the theme but it was one of those - 'well they're OK but....' !!!
And I just wanted something that was a bit different -
then I remembered these stamps - which were bought for 'Pink Day's' fundraising  - and this sentiment included the word 'friends' which scored another point!

Quick notelet card, basic layout with the stamp decoupaged and coloured with promarkers.

I added a tiny black pearl to the centre of the bra - and it's likely that I'll end up adding either a thin pink ribbon, or a pink line round the edge or more black pearls somewhere!

I made a few of these and think they would be good as little notelets so will make a small co -ordinated box and then pop them into the 'Pink stash'.

I've been a bit of a 'tidy or use it up' freak this week and haven't a lot of snippets to show for my projects - I roll from being uber uber tidy after finishing each thing to leaving piles of stuff laying about on the desk leaving me with the traditional 6" of space to work in and this week I had my 'tidy up' head on - so the little bits of card used for the notelets I hope will qualify me for my first entry to the Playground this week - have missed the snowball fights! LOL

If you've made anything from leftover scraps this week (card scraps that is not food scraps-!!) come across to Pixie's Crafty Workshop (the playground) - and bring your mittens!! LOL
